Is Cumacı free?
Yes. Cumacı is free, with no ads and no in-app purchases.
How is my Friday counted?
At Friday prayer time, tap “I’m at the mosque” when you arrive. Within a few minutes Cumacı confirms by location that you’re at the mosque and counts your Friday. The same rule applies at every mosque.
What if I can’t make it to the mosque?
You have excuse days for illness or travel, so your streak isn’t broken. If you can’t go for a longer time, turn on “Friday at home” in Settings.
What are charity points, and who donates?
Every verified Friday earns 1 charity point that you send to any mosque. At the end of the month Cumacı donates from its own budget to verified mosque associations, in proportion to the points each mosque received. You never pay; payments are published with receipts on the transparency page.
Do you store my location?
No. No location history is kept; only the name of the mosque where you prayed is saved to your account. “Always” location access is optional and only requested if you turn on “Count automatically”.
Where does the sermon come from?
The weekly Friday sermon published by Türkiye’s Presidency of Religious Affairs (Diyanet), in Turkish, with the official English translation where available.
Is there an Android version?
For now, Cumacı is available for iPhone only.
