Frequently asked questions
How is my Friday counted?
Tap "I'm at the mosque" when you arrive for Friday prayer. The app confirms with your location within a few minutes that you are at the mosque and counts your Friday. The same rule applies at any mosque.
Does it work outside Türkiye?
Yes. Prayer times follow your local time zone, and mosques in Germany, the Netherlands, Austria, France, Belgium, Switzerland, the UK, Denmark, Sweden and Norway are included (from OpenStreetMap). If your mosque is missing, write to us.
Do you store my location?
No. Verification happens on your device; only the distance to the mosque is sent and no location history is kept. Details: Privacy policy.
Do I have to allow "Always" location access?
No. The app works fully with "While Using". "Always" is only needed if you want your Friday to be counted automatically without opening the app; you can turn it off in iOS Settings at any time.
What if I cannot go to the mosque one Friday?
For travel, illness and similar situations you have a limited number of excuses per year, and your streak is kept. For situations where you cannot attend a mosque, you can also turn on "Friday time (at home)" mode in Settings.
What is a group (Cemaat)?
A small private group (up to 40 people) that goes to Friday prayer together and keeps a shared streak. You join with an invitation link. Members see each other's names and whether they prayed this Friday; mosque and time only if you allow it. You can be in one group at a time.
What are charity points?
Every valid Friday at a mosque earns 1 charity point, which you send to a mosque of your choice. At the end of the month a donation pool is shared among mosques in proportion to their points and paid by us to verified mosque associations. Points cannot be bought or cashed in; we never charge you.
How do I delete my account?
In the app: Settings → Delete my account. Your records, streak and other data are deleted immediately and your Sign in with Apple link is revoked. If you cannot access the app, write to [email protected] and we will delete it.
Where do the sermon and hadith come from?
The weekly sermon is the Friday sermon published by the Presidency of Religious Affairs of Türkiye (Diyanet). The English title, full text link and hadith come from Diyanet's official English translation. Summaries and questions are approved by an editor; German texts are machine-translated and reviewed by an editor before publishing.
